I have a number of Profiles defined in Blue Iris:
- Normal Daytime - Exterior Cameras Enabled/Interior Cameras Disabled
- Normal Night- Exterior Cameras Enabled/Interior Cameras Disabled
- Alarm Armed Home - Exterior Cameras Enabled, Motion Sensing Active
- Alarm Armed Away - ALL Cameras Enabled, Motion Sensing Active
- Alarm Violated - ALL Cameras in Continuous Record Mode

I have corresponding Profile controls configured in the VERA system that interfaces my DSC Alarm. When the Alarm is Disarmed there is a test for Day/Night and it sends the appropriate control to BI to select the "Normal Daytime" or "Normal Night" profiles. Similarly when the Alarm is Armed or Violated it sends BI the appropriate Profile Command.

I have validated these Profiles, Controls, and Communications in Vera/BI so they do work as intended. In effect, Vera is providing an External Schedule Manager for BI.

It appears that it will only work as intended if I disable all of BI's internal scheduling i.e. disable the Global Schedule and the individual Camera Schedules and reply solely on the Profile Controls without negative results in BI?
