Had an extra day off and it was still light out so i decided to create a DIY rack for the PoE switch(es) and the idle Nvr's.
Which forced me to do a little better wire management.
It was kind of a mess before just sitting on the shelf.
It's one of those thing were you say to yourself, I'm gonna buy a wall mount rack and install it one of these days.
and 3 years goes by,,,,
After the last power surge/lightning event, I brought the working NVR into my room and have it sitting on top of the BI machine.
And having 2 HDMI ports on the Monitor, I can access it both ways, via the web interface, or thru the HDMI interface.
It's pretty clunky using a mouse to type in a long password on the HDMI screen for the NVR though,,,
But you can pull up the Live 16 Channel view, where as the web interface seems to only give you 4 blank screen and a list of cams to select from.
