Dahua has some big upgrade again for the PTZs.

New Features:
1.No plug-in program phase High-version browsers can play live view videos without installing plugins.
2.Support：Self-diagnose device failure, and then generate a failure code (if any) for
troubleshooting.
3 Add RTP and TS multicast configuration interface.
4 The duration of the preset title displaying on the screen can be set to Disable, 5s,
15s, Display Permanently, or Custom.
5 Improve the quality of recorded videos transmitted to back-end devices (such as
NVRs) with ANR function.
6 Users can connect the third party platforms to play live video of the device through
RTMP protocol.
7 PTZ speed configured on the web interface only applies to manual control speed.
8 Special presets serve as the shortcut for some special functions switch or calling,
and they no longer represent the location of the PTZ camera.
9 Move the Auto Tracking interface from PTZ Function interface to Smart Plan
interface.
10 Snapshot by location: Only snapshots for certain locations will be stored.
11 Users can set the MTU value to ensure good data transmission according to the
network.
12 Safety baseline 2.1 improves the program security level from authentication,
confidentiality, integrity and other aspects.
13 Even transmission strategy: Transmit TCP and UDP streams evenly to alleviate
the problem of stuck screen when network bandwidth is limited.
14 Add time zone and time settings during initialization process.


Fixed Bugs Description
After users configure FTP and click test, the system prompts that operation failed.
Obtain FTP and SFTP names dynamically.

Apparently I'm going to be the Guinea pig on this one. Upgrade went very fast. However two small problems.

1. Live preview does NOT work for me in latest version of Chrome or Edge.
2. Using the old NACL plugin I can not login. I get an error message that says "Failed to login the plugin!"

All settings are accessible, just no live video. Which kind of blocks from setting up any IVS or other settings that you need to see the video.

Andy, anyone else reporting?

I did reboot and factory default.

EDIT to add, I tried the old Internet Explorer with the plugin in wants to download and that works! So you'll need the old Internet Explorer to see video.
 
I flashed a few times with no luck. So then I re-downloaded and flashed again and no luck. Then I reset to factory defaults AGAIN and now it's working. Just posting this here for others.

Does the DH-SD52C225U-HNI support smarplan IVS tracking?

I can't seem to find it in the camera options on the camera page

The playback tab no longer shows video or the timescale bar at the bottom (the one with events, etc).

Live video works well in standard chrome however.

I'm recording to SDCard not NAS/NVR.

have you make default after flashing? The firmware has been updated sucessfully or not?
 
I'm also having an issue with this firmware. Presets are not showing up in the IVS menu. See screenshots.

Anyone have any ideas?

(ignore the camera view, it hasn't been mounted yet)

YW, it's a new way they did it with this firmware.. The icon above it is for intelligent tracking... auto tracking without rules set up
 
Hmm my smart plan doesn’t allow me to select a channel, it’ll let me select the next bit once I push refresh but it doesn’t feel like it saves. I’ll have another look today.
And there is no smart plan option in the camera settings just the nvr

As you can see I can add them but to no channel (when I first click on this screen is says 'disconnected' then I click refresh and I get the add. I click Ok

Exit come back I get this again;

You should set up your smart plan in the camera. If it isn't showing up when you log into the camera try closing all your open browsers and clearing your browser history / cache and try again.
