If you can wait a couple of weeks maybe we will have some video to post. On paper I know which one I would buy going by the results of my IPC-B5442E-Z4E cameras . :) Here is a night time picture.

Great, I was hoping that mount would prevent me from upgrading LOL, now I have a valid reason to upgrade in the future. One size fits all

I can have it delivered next working day here in UK

Both have similar specs and a 1/2.8" STARVIS™ CMOS sensor if anything the 59232XA looks better on paper even though the 5A425XA looks nice I am leaning towards the SD59232XA because of the better specs and much higher bitrate.

I made the payment today with Andy. Hopefully I will receive this camera in a couple of weeks with shipping being the way it is these days. I think he might have one left. Someone else on the board also ordered one.
We will see them soon later this month. Shipping speed is really slow these days.

I've been waiting for this one too - really happy with the same size sensor in the HK turret I put up recently.

My 59225 is quite noisy (much more than the 1A225) so hoping these new ones will be quieter. Half of me is thinking the 4 series will probably do what I need but the quality of these bigger sensors is great.

The 4 series is very quiet, but when its cold, the noise is a little more noticeable. Wonder if the belts need lube overtime. I doubt it, nothing in the manual states otherwise

GBP Total Amount: 668.10 GBP

The extra megapixels will give better detail. Plus the larger sensor will admit more light in when the sun goes down.

On paper it looks very promising and looking forward to your first night video's. When are you expecting delivery?

I am hoping sometime next week. Maybe the end of the next week. The camera is still in China and has not made it's way to Hong Kong where it will depart for the USA.

That's a lot earlier than me ordering from my supplier here in UK as it is a special order 6-8 weeks :(

Andy had previously ordered 3 or 4 of these cameras. I had puts dibs on one of them. When they came in I made the payment through PayPal. The problem these days is the slow shipping out of China. It is taking 2-3 times as long as in the past. Andy may have sold them all, but I do not know that for sure. The only way to know is to ask him.

I'm in no rush whatsoever mate and will wait until you receive your camera as it's a camera I've been very interested in this particular Camera since the beginning of the year and have a feeling it will become KING of the PTZ.
