Secure CCTV for home

I am looking for a good secure CCTV for home. Skeptical of Chinese brands Dahua/HIKvision due to issue of data security. Please pass on any recommendations/good brands.

You realize that almost everything is made in China right? That isn’t a disqualification for a product!

Regardless, if you’re looking for other brands consider Axis, Avigilon, Bosch, Mobotix, Pelco, Samsung, Sony, Panasonic.

If you isolate the cameras from the internet so that they cannot access the internet and phone home, then there is no security concern....

Any camera, regardless of where or who makes, can be hacked and issues of data security if the cameras have access to the internet...
