What i ended up doing. and this suits my needs until i can find a way around the plugin saga. i don't know if a firmware update would solve the problem.
i just did a mirrow cast from my laptop to the smart tv. so i can view the dahua camera or any others that i have on my laptop this works just fine i can still use the laptop and have the camera on the tv. so untill i can sort the plugin this way will do,
