After attempting blindly, failing, searching here and watching multiple YouTubes still can not get SmartPSS to actually find the cameras. Please review the attached screenshot and advise what I need to do. For security, I did blur out the final 3 "xxx" of the domains listed, but they represent what is labeled.

No problem running BI on the dedicated computer with the cameras attached to NIC2 subnet, and no problem accessing with the smartphone app.

For SmartPSS loaded as separate devices all 4 possible IP combinations and all report "Offline". The client computer running SmartPSS was on the same home network...no VPN access attempt or anything like that...keeping it simple.

Not shown are variations I tried with no success:
1) Password: used the "changed" password but also tried the original "admin/admin"
2) Port: 37777 is the default for SmartPSS (and confirmed as the TCP port on the camera) Tried both the camera HTTP port and the BI listening port, plus a random unassigned port.
3) Reinstall SmartPSS without the sister PCNVR program which isn't necessary on remote clients, bogging them down (only thing picked up from YouTube). Photo below would look the same with or without it installed.

FYI- blurring out local ip addresses does nothing...they are not unique to you....they are local addresses, no one can do anything with them...

OK...The actual IP addresses (SmartPSS lists alphabetically - not order tried)

Fake Internet NIC2 - 192.168.0.1, (last tried and didn't expect anything. Noted when reviewing camera data noted as "Default Gateway", and decided 'why not'! Camera wouldn't allow the field to be blank so created the "0" version.) Both 192.168.1.xxx and 192.168.0.xxx are on the same subnet 255.255.255.0
NIC1 - 192.168.1.63, the IP of the BI host computer and source for internet access
NIC2 - 192.168.0.100, The IP the PoE switch and cameras are connected to
Asus Router - 192.168.1.1 (Internet Gateway)

Not shown...
192.168.1.186...IP of Client computer with SmartPss attempting to reach cameras with settings above

Its a mess...first, its not the same subnet...you are confusing subnet mask with subnet...
smart pss needs the ip address of the camera/nvr not the pc..

OK, I have partially narrowed it down...and can make photos if you want, but it appears to have to do with the desirable isolation of the cameras from the internet, establishing the subnet with the second NIC the cameras are attached to on the BI dedicated computer.

1) Same "Offline" message when specifying each camera's specific IP in SmartPSS

2) On a hunch, brought up the IP Camera Web Browser on both computers. On the computer trying to set up SmartPSS as a client, web browser searching 192.168.0.112 timed out unable to find. However, on the BI dedicated computer, the same web browser program brought up camera 192.168.0.112 without hesitation. It appears that over the same home network, other computers on the network are not able to access the subnet of the BI machine. Now I have to figure out how to open up that communication.
