Maybe try option 4 I listed if blowing away the webrec folder and see if that assists. Also remember the rtsp stream option should you need it although like you said you at least have SmartPSS for now.

- Select Start > Settings > Update & Security > Windows Security and then Virus & threat protection > Manage settings. (In previous versions of Windows 10, select Virus & threat protection > Virus & threat protection settings.)
Open Windows Security settings - Switch the Real-time protection setting to Off and choose Yes to verify.

Interestingly, could not do it from the NVR 4116-8P. I had to take it off the NVR and reassign to my 192.168.1.x network and then do it from the Config Tool.

IVS Intrusion is not detection Humans with SMD 3.0 firmware. The camera on the right has the SMD 3.0 firmware and the camera on the left has the old firmware. I just changed the camera on the right to tripwire to see if it does the same and not detection Humans, I will update my results in a day or two.

I tested IVS tripwire also did not detection Humans. Not until I rebooted the camera then both IVS tripwire and Intrusion started working.
I forgot to mention in my 5241-Z12E test, this newer firmware added 2D NR.

Because this firmware lost Smart IR, so they are looking at adding it back.
SMD3.0 with Smart IR can be ready at middle May.1st-5th.May is public holidays here, so have 1 week delay.

With 'Auto' only this causes issues with washout as its not as effective as 'SmartIR' algorithms BUT its not only that SmartIR adjusts better (which it does) in this case. In SMD 3.0 you barely see the IR adjust for a target, period (confirmed with further testing). This is also noticeable in code comparison between old (improved 2.0 versions) and new. As @EMPIRETECANDY said, Dahua aware and working so hopefully new FW to test in May even if its SmartIR re-added first and then the addition of the AI improvements to counter for the animals as humans issue
