Sound playback problems

I have a DS-7716NI-SP with a DS-2CD2532F-IS attached, every thing works great but when I save a video to my computer and try to play it with VLC it has no sound.

If I playback from the NVR the sound works perfectly, is there a way to export or save these files and still have the sound work?

Solved my own problem with two solutions, one is a Hikvision conversion tool found here http://www.hikvision.com/en/us/download_more.asp?id=637

the other is a "filter" for windows media player http://www.hikvision.com/en/us/download_more.asp?id=1119

Presumably you used the 'export' function in the 'playback' web admin pages to save the file.
To try as an experiment different methods -
You can also use the HDMI/VGA interface to export a video clip via the playback menu to an external USB device.
And if you want to wrestle with some slightly difficult software, you could manually export selected files using the backup software here:
