FYI -

Spotted this deal when replying to a thread, wanted to share it separately.

Older retired NVR model 16 PoE ports + room for 4 HDDs if I got the specs right.

FWIW - it may not have some of the more advanced features that many of us like .. still should be a decent options for those on a tight budget and needing the basics or who may want an extra box ( perhaps a good, Look thieves.. take this box, not the Blue Iris box that is hidden away .. ;)

We used to have a speco mobile DVR at work. Hated that thing. Was clumsy to use and their support was lacking as they only supported distributors, not consumers.

fyi - not certain of the Speco older models, or DVRs .. so I can't be certain the NVR / DVR you looked at was also a Dahua OEM one ..

Oh it's back. I bought one last year April2020 and flashed it with the NVR4XXXX 4kS2 V3.216 when the N8NXP was being discussed. IIrc it identified itself as the 4416-16p-4ks2. Havenot tried the v4 firmware on it

Seems like a great deal for someone just entering this market, would have been extra slick if it could support the new SMD firmware Andy posted earlier :D
