I just bought a new cam
And

The software SricamPC works and all is well but, iSPY will not detect it.
Anyone know the syntax to use instead of the Add Camera Wizard?

Or, maybe it is not SP008.
There are 2 sp-008 and sp008 listed in the wizard and niether work.

HELP!!!!!!!

hehehe

Maybe it doesn't have a web GUI.
You might be able to get useful info if it supports ONVIF by using ONVIF Device Manager from sourceforge.net

kicking dirt
Already tried that..
I had a cheaper sricam that just died and it worked well with ispy.
Bought this one a bit nicer but, still the same cheapie brand as my dead one and it will not work.
The software you get for it from www.sricam.com/download.html works but, has no motion detection.

iSPY has 2 selections for the SP008 and neither work. Ugh!!!

You have any suggestions for a decent Outdoor IP Camera w/ PTZ that works seamlessly with iSPY?
Around $120 - $200 Something other than Sricam. ha

It has some great night vision though. Checkout the IR in "literally" total pitch blackness I added this morning.

That looks like a really nice one but, it is POE and my router ( RT-AC88U | Networking | ASUS USA ) is not.
That and, it is a bit out of my price range. I'd love to get a nice POE switch, run RJ-45 to every corner of the house with nice POE cameras.
Now, just an IP camera around said price range is all I can muster.

Any other suggestions?
Maybe a few links to eBAY of a worthy purchase...
