Asking for suggestions on setting up home network that would segment lan to separate iP cams, nvr, and online streaming from pc lan to limit exposure.
If I missed a previous guide I apologize.
Thanks for help.

First, read this wiki

To isolate your NVR and cams, check out devices like EdgeRouterX and Netgate SG-1100 (or build your own pfSense device) and use VLANs to separate your PC network from your CAM network. If using Blue Iris, instead of an NVR, you could use two NICs (network cards) in a PC to keep the networks separate.

If you are running Blue Iris as the nvr, then you can use the dual nic method or if you're willing to learn, you can use a managed switch to implement vlans and segregate your network. My preferred method is the latter.

Even though I’ve got a layer 3 switch I decided to go with BI and 2 LAN cards so the cams and POE switch off 1 card, connection to my main house on the other card. So much easier to implement and if I need access to the cams I simply RDP to the BI PC.
