Keep in mind that the electronic component supply chain shortage is still impacting manufacturer new product development and manufacturing capacity as they are being forced to use components readily available to them perhaps instead of their preferred choices which could be driving some of the change you are seeing in the product designs.

Note the low light colour performance isn't great as a result. Potentially 10 times more light needed than for a 4Kt - 0.005 vs 0.0005 lux. Would have been better as 2mp on a 1/1.8" sensor.
