The Typical picture of a Perp on Nextdoor-type Apps with Consumer Grade Cameras like Ring, Nest, Arlo, Canary, Wyze, etc.

Don't know what cams these are, but these caps were posted on Constable's FB page asking if anyone can ID this guy from a church B&E. Good luck with that.

Poor cams and poor placement.

Ding Dong Ditch posted on Nextdoor from a Nest cam. Lots of light, and lots of blurry video.

This one is interesting. On Nextdoor. Is a ONWOTE cam. This is the second time I have actually seen someone move a cam prior to a theft. One of the comments was to always cover a cam with another cam.

Probably a bullet and was not locked down very well. Also trying to do too much with a single cam. Move this view a little to the right.

They all look substream, which we all know that even if it is the camera "mainstream" 4K that with wifi something gonna give with motion and that will be pixelated soft messes.

Simply put, more great examples of the limitations of consumer grade cameras, probably most of these above are wifi cloud based as well.

Just came across this gem as well. Too bad they didn't say the camera brand, but I am sure it is the typical big box, scan a QR code and get going and they couldn't do it....this is exactly why the better cameras of the world do not cater and market the typical homeowner because they will field way too many support phone calls.

This was on the news today from Houston. Guy shot an A/C repairman. This is the security cam shots that the police are using to ask for help in identifying him. This is a cam mounted on the garage pointed at the driveway. He is standing exactly where the cam is pointing for an ID. No idea on the brand.

If he is standing in the spot for a second or so the police can merge the frames together and clean up that picture. However for the camera that is a horrible picture with that much light.

Looks like a super cheap camera, or perhaps a capture from an older camera ..

Check this one! I cracks me up when they share these photos .. has to be a door bell cam!
Yes, but that is The Flash! You can tell because he has horizontal blur!

Wow, at 8am on a Friday morning at a business? I guess that business does not open for a few more hours? He obviously has been there before as he knew exactly where he was going and what he was taking. Parked out of sight of the cam and knew his face would not be too well photographed.
