Nope - that's a typo.
The firmware filename should be digicap.dav
No rename necessary when extracted from the stock firmware..

Did you try the password reset tool as per post #18?

Thanks alistair, I appreciate all of your suggestions, and yes I did use the tool in post 18, but it didn.t work for me even though with your help, I did get the IP address straightened out but it didn't help the results.
I appreciate all of the help but for the time being, I'm going to put camera #3 under a pyramid and see if it heals itself.
I'm going to do this project with just 2 cameras and expand later if it suits my wife. (she's a tough nut) It's my first security camera project and I am learning new stuff daily. Thanks again. Regards, Jim
