Tree Shadow false alarms

Mine has been much better since I changed to color only during the day. I only noticed it turning red once today and we had a few moments that it would have normally. I work from home, but BI is up and running on my second monitor.

AFAIK that's about the only setting I know about, outside of that, you're spending monaayyyy.

You can tweak your object and contrast settings to help a little. PIR is the best option, other than cost.

What about increasing the triggering window significantly, and increasing the pre-trigger frame buffer size so you don't miss the beginning of the action?
i've found this helpful with shadows/wind and especially bugs at night.
