Trigger BI alarm using HikV PIR motion detection

I'm probably missing something obvious here (as usual...), but I can't get an alarm to trigger in BI using the PIR motion sensor/alarm in a Hik cube camera. The motion sensor is working fone in the camera (it sounds an alarm using the speaker in the camera), and I've tried all the output options in the camera settings. I've also selected "trigger using the camera's digital inout or motion" in the Motion/Trigger tab for the camera in BI, but no luck. Is there a way to do this? Thanks!
