Sigh - was hoping that bong smoking emoji would be a clue that my post was intended as a pun - using almost the exact wording as the OP. Not as a serious question. Not a U-Turn. But a failed attempt to merge how the thread diverged into exploding toilets with cracked plates!

Now I know why there's an entire wiki (explainXKCD) whose purpose is to explain Munroe's comics.
