I think we all want to believe there's something more than a chance existence in a universe devoid of life except for Earth. It's fun to explore possibilities, even the ones that push the boundary of bizarre.
When I start to think that there is nothing else, I remember that no one knows what is beyond the universe, assuming there is a beyond the universe. At one point the scientific community was saying the universe began at a singularity they called the "Big Bang", and that everything is moving from that point. Now they're saying everything is moving away from everything else, or something like that. Then there's dark matter, black holes, galaxies that have been observed that mathematically shouldn't exist according to the laws of physics. All this knowledge and understanding is evolving. Human knowledge of the universe is like an ant's knowledge of Earth, imo.
I've been meaning to read "The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fuck". A suitable time to check it out

Yup, it arrogant to think we know "a lot" when we really don't know shit. We know little about what lies under our oceans much less what is beyond our planet. "There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, than are dreamt of in your philosophy" For all we know we are (each person) nothing more than sophisticated subroutines running in an extremely advanced simulator that is 100s of thousands of years old. Feel reals, appears really but are we? With enough time AI and simulators can get extremely advanced. Maybe a blend of The Matrix, Tron then thow in MIB (the marble scene at the end of the movie). It just might explain some of the most bizarre things we see going on. Some aliens may be running this advanced simulator to see what happens when you introduce X, Y or Z. Some fucking alien kid probably is running a simulation on what the AI will do when you introduce something like Covid. That means we are a part of the AI simulation or we are the AI subroutines scrambling like little ants trying to solve the problem. I always thought the giant advanced simulator theory was dumb as fuck but then I give pause and my mind starts to wander. What a wonderfully bizarre universe we exist in.

Was watching a Dr Steven Greer podcast. Crazy. But i do (kinda) believe when he says the shit that;s operatonal isn't controllrd by America or any country....just the powerful secrect organizations.
It's really crazy when he talks about upper end gadgets, and politicians that would like to do something, but says fuk it brcause not only do we not have a say in it, they play us like idiots with fake shit wrapped in real shit.
and i'm no sure about Dr Steven Greer....but those rabbit holes are deep.....and fun.....and now ....Katy Perry, Lauren Sánchez, Gayle King, Aisha Bowe, Amanda Nguyen, and Kerianne Flynn are all astronauts? ....like the dog and monkey we sent into space years ago.
I still have a few fuks to give....just not on the political side of shit.

I think i read years ago some dumbass got killed because the buildings skipped from 12 to 14 (many buildings don't have a 13th. His bungee cord was a floor too long.....

....I watched some show about UFOs featuring Dr. Greer and they had a segment about his UFO tour excursions where they go out at night in some remote area to watch UFO's flying around. He had his tour group concentrate on inviting UFOs to come by and low and behold....with their night vision goggles a bunch of "UFOs" were flying about in the night sky and he's casually talking saying "there's another UFO, and there and there...." and so were his tour group members and it seemed like it was just as ordinary as bats flying about at night. Just the lowkey attitude and expectation that one could invite UFOs over by beckoning them with your mind just seemed dumb of fuck. I'm not so sure about him either at this point.

I think like many involved in this subject, they start with a sliver of truth and blow it up to be much more sensational.
I’m more intrigued by the military whistleblowers who literally sacrifice their careers without a big payday, some very high ranking.
Probably much of it revolves around secret .gov programs which are typically 20+ years ahead of public knowledge.
But there’s enough of it that now has me switching from “yeah sure you nutcase grifter” to “welp, we got aliens, I hope they have better WiFi than what we’re having to live with now”

Steven Greer said he was offered 2 billion dollars "to manage" if he'd just add disinformation. I do not doubt when he says no 1 government has all the tech. and those enties that do...if it's true answer to no government.
So much info/disinfo its crazy....but 2 billion? I don't doubt that's easy to build up with all the black prodjects, but to turn that down you gotta be grifting.

That must be the "dissatisfied McDonald's customer" model (BMac40)- it's uncannily like some human behavior I've seen on some of those bodycam youtube videos.
On a different note, there's a Joe Rogan podcast in which he interviews Hal Puthoff, a physicist of some renown that many of you may be familiar with. Although it's a bit lengthy (that's what she said), it's well worth watching/listening to if you have the time and interest. You'll find it a fascinating conversation for sure.
