Any IP camera should never be directly exposed to the net....then you dont have to worry about this type of stuff...

It's an 8.9, not great not terrible - basic scope is full compromise of the camera using HTTP commands. If you have your NVR (BI or otherwise) without a firewall between it and the cameras but no access beyond the NVR (and assuming your NVR is up to date), you should patch soon-ish but it's not urgent (3 months is fine); if your routing is more permissive or NVR is unpatched, patch immediately (within a month or so).
