I dont use TiKTok. I couldnt care less about it.

But this goes to prove beyond the shadow of a doubt how truly STUPID the American public is. The SOLE reason they are "banning it" unless a US buyer is allowed to purchase it, is because the US govt doesnt control it.

This is 100% about government control of free speech. Any other "China is spying on you" argument is naive and childish. China spys on us all the time. They're no where NEAR as good and comprehensive about it as the US Govt however. China is a distant 2nd when it comes to corrupt spying on US citizens.
