US Elections (& Politics) :)

I have a BIG Problem with people who kick people when they are down.

When I hear it is wages that drive up prices, "Riddle me this Batman".
How come there was a time when we had flocks of Air Force jets screaming overhead
day and night. The biggest decision after high school was used car or new? Let us not forget
our Army and Navy across the world.
The excuse, our wages cause inflation, raise prices and a myriad of other BS lies. All of this
has been told to us by the news and the FAT-CATS at the top.

The USA must not come out of these conflicts being perceived as being weak and incapable of enforcing it's interests.
The USA maybe shouldn't have pushed NATO to the bear's doorstep. Unless of course we'd be OK with the bear's missiles somewhere close, like cuba, for example.

They really want to force us to shut up.
Yes, they do and HE definitely does.
Kerry says:
"....and people go....and then people self-select where they go for their news and their information.."
and also:
"Our First Amendment stands as a major block..."

That's "Scary Kerry" for you. I'm thinking he's tired of having his record of service and subsequent medals received in Vietnam questioned frequently for the past 50 years. God forbid we have any truths out there since a manufactured or imagined facsimile should and could suffice.

Like his cup. I use to say, I may not always be right but I am Never Wrong, haha
Well, I thought I was wrong once but as it turns out...I was mistaken. :winktongue:

What a dick. The 'dislike and anguish over social media' is only by the left as they cannot control it.

But he is wrong when he says it is harder now to 'build consensus'. No, you just hear about the opposing views now since it gets posted on social media. Those 'dissenters' were always there, you just did not hear from them since they did not have an easy way to broadcast their opinion. A few pissed off people would write a letter to the newspaper editor, and fewer still would be printed. Some few people would hold a 'protest' in some park and maybe it would be covered for 10 seconds on the 6:00pm news.

Chile Had to Pass a Law to Stop Haitians et al from Eating Pets

The following is a report from Gateway Hispanic.

The Chilean Congress has passed a law to protect the rights of domestic animals. It criminalizes the slaughter, distribution, and commercialization of the meat of pets and companion animals.

The Chilean congressman José Carlos Meza authored the bill.

This measure arises from reports about the consumption of dog and cat meat in certain foreign communities within the country, particularly the Haitian community, according to Deputy José Carlos Meza, the bill’s author.

In Chile, it is documented that foreign communities, particularly Haitians, consume the meat of domestic animals and pets, such as cats. There are many reports, some even showing the street sale of this meat (without clearly stating that it is dog or cat meat), the story states.
