I say possibly split it down the middle. The hardest part is parents getting young kids going to school mid-November to late January or so.
If President Trump wants to get rid of changing the clocks, I'm all for it. Congress has had multiple opportunities the past few years to do it and all they've done is kick it down the road.
I'd prefer Daylight savings year round myself, especially considering we already do it 8 months out of the year, but just get rid of the changes so we can stay on one time year round.
I HATE changing the clock, and I HATE getting used to the new time. Also, animals don't give a crap about what time is it. Their brains and bellies say it's time to eat, get milked, go to bed, etc...
For those who say, but what about the kids in the dark going to school in the morning. Guess what? There are kids having to get on the bus/L/train at 6:30a.m. (and earlier) around here, and then you have kids getting off the bus at 5p.m. It's dark when they get on, or it's dark when they get off, or it's dark for both. Just leave the time the flippn same.

Drop Daylight Savings Time. Stay on Standard Time. That makes the most sense, as far as the time zones are concerned.

I prefer daylight savings time and the longer summer days, and really don't like losing an hour of light come fall and the super short daylight from November to January. But I would be okay just springing forward permanently 1/2hr and keeping it there.
