Politico reporter: Trump base is 'getting stronger' since he left office, impeachment would only empower him
I twice listened to the video this story is about and did not hear any statement by the politico reporter that impeachment would empower Trump. She would have been stupid to say it since the impeachment is already history. Either Fox published a false quote, or MSNBC scrubbed it out of the video.
 
This is an interesting point of view now that Biden has embraced the DIE mantra of the far left (Diversity Inclusion Equity).

Apparently we're not viewing the same video, either it was scrubbed or relocated, cannot say. It's now totally AZ Rep. Andy Biggs being interviewed by Fox News.

The swamp is back in force without question. The worst of the denizen bottom dwellers have been appointed back to positions of power by Sleepy, Creepy, Basement Joe Bunco. An attorney for the DOJ who altered evidence (outright lied) to make a case for the FISA Court got off with a sentence of being denied his cookies and milk at 2PM. The descent has only just begun. Just don't blame me, I voted for President Trump, not Dictator, His Highness, Sleepy Creepy, Basement Joe Bunco.

I looked at this originally to see for myself how stupid her statement of "impeachment would only empower him" was, and was not able to hear her saying that. The fox story changed a bit since yesterday, too. The headline still contains the same statement (with an opening quote but no closing quote), but the supposed quote in the body of the story got enhanced a bit to make the statement a bit less stupid: "I think an impeachment would make him even more powerful — a conviction, is what I mean." Even more interesting, a link to the fox story was yesterday near the top of every conservative news site I look at, and this morning it's nowhere to be found. I like to think that the conservative news has more integrity than the liberal news, and I think overall that's true. But even at that the sites are full of click bait and inaccurate reporting. It's dangerous to believe anything we're fed from either side without somehow verifying it.
