Not sure what is going on there. It really does not look like the body is being supported by a rope around the neck. The head and shoulders seem to be leaning forward. It looks to me that the rope is under the arms or is a harness. I am not saying that this is not horrific, but I am not convinced that he was hung from the neck until dead by the helicopter. Most probably he was already dead and this is a display to the rest of the people not to cross the Taliban.
