Very interesting...

Actually, I consider myself a Libertarian. I don't subscribe to the entire platform just like you probably don't eat up everything that the Dem or Rep parties do. My biggest issue with the Libertarian party has to do with their policy on borders. Without borders you don't have a country.

Interestingly enough, the vast majority of the country would fall into the Libertarian party if they were inlellectually honest. Unfortunately, a lot of folks treat their politics like it's a team sport. They pull for their team no matter what and will do anything for their team to "win". Yes, many people have an issue with "drugs" but if you truly adopt Libertarian views of personal responsibility then that works itself out

Worth a read, Re: the Liberal Perverts and Pedophiles running the bullshit "Transgender movement"

The Transgender Movement Is Not Just Intolerant. It’s Barbaric And Violent, And It’s Coming For Your Children

The Transgender Movement Is Coming For Your Children

Hardly a day goes by now that we don’t see another appalling example of transgender ideology’s aggressive intolerance in the public square. Recently, the target of that intolerance was an 80-year-old woman in the small town of Port Townsend, Washington, who was permanently banned from her local YMCA pool after she objected to a “trans woman” — a man — in the women’s locker room.

And for daring to speak out about that in public, she and her supporters were attacked this week in broad daylight by a mob of trans activists and Antifa thugs.

According a recent report in the New York Post, the woman, Julie Jaman, confronted a YMCA employee, a “trans woman” named Clementine Adams, in the locker room after Jaman observed that Adams was clearly a man. To Jaman’s credit, she did not mince words.

“I saw a man in a woman’s bathing suit watching maybe four or five little girls pulling down their suits in order to use the toilet,” Jaman told the Post. “I asked if he had a penis and he said it was none of my business. I told that man to ‘get out right now.’”

For exercising what would have been universally praised not long ago as guts and common sense — confronting a man trespassing in a women’s locker room to watch little girls undress — Jaman was accused of “being discriminatory” by the YMCA manager, threatened with the police, and ordered to leave. A member of the YMCA for 35 years, she was subsequently banned from the pool permanently.

Jaman’s ordeal wasn’t over, though. On Monday, Jaman and others gathered to speak out about the local YMCA’s dangerous policy of allowing men into the women’s locker room. As Jaman was speaking, a mob of Antifa militants, including burly, tattooed men, converged on the rally, screaming, “Trans women are women,” in an attempt to intimidate and drown her out. They ripped down the suffragette flags on display behind Jaman, who was visibly shaken and asked, “Are we going to get beat up here?” and asked supporters in the crowd to call the police.

Eventually, the Antifa mob surrounded Jaman, whose supporters, most of them middle-aged and elderly women, had to form a protective circle around her. Some women were thrown to the ground. Others had their shoes ripped off. Just as black-shirted Antifa men were beginning to tussle with Jaman’s supporters, the police showed up.

It wasn’t enough, though, simply to terrorize and physically assault women exercising their First Amendment rights. The mayor of Port Townsend, a self-described “pervert and deviant” named David J. Faber, praised the mob that went after Jaman and her supporters, calling it an “incredible night” that was “beautiful” and falsely claiming that “Trans and cis-allies alike spoke love & support.”

As copious video evidence posted on Twitter shows, they did no such thing. They engaged in the thuggish intolerance, simmering violence, and blind rage characteristic of the far left — and then they reveled in it, with the likes of Faber praising the mob for their brutality toward an 80-year-old woman who dared to speak up.

Mobs like the one in Port Townsend on Monday, however, are merely the blunt instrument, the Brown Shirts of a much larger effort on the part of the left to sever the relationship between parent and child and reshape society in a way that allows adults, especially adult men, to fulfill their every desire — often at the expense of children.

But that effort isn’t being led by black-shirted Antifa thugs, it’s being led by medical professionals at some of the most prestigious hospitals in the country. In recent weeks, Libs of TikTok, Matt Walsh, Chris Elston (Billboard Chris), and others have been posting publicly available promotional videos and other information from Boston Children’s Hospital touting so-called “gender-affirming care,” which includes chemical castration, mastectomies, hysterectomies, and genital mutilation performed on minors.

Boston Children’s Hospital responded by removing all its videos and information about “gender-affirming care” from its YouTube channel and quietly updating its website to claim (falsely) that gender-related surgeries are only for those over 18.

Meanwhile, Big Tech and the corporate press predictably came to the defense of the hospital. Facebook banned Libs of Tik Tok this week, and NBC News’s Brandy Zadrozny spread misinformation by claiming BCH doesn’t perform genital surgeries on minors. Almost all media coverage of the BCH affair has been framed as far-right activists threatening the hospital and engaging in “stochastic terrorism” when in fact all that Libs of Tik Tok and others have done is post the hospital’s own materials.

The videos are genuinely horrifying. A buttoned-up surgeon calmly explaining phalloplasty to the camera over whimsical music can’t hide the horrifying fact that what’s being described is the cutting off of forearm flesh from a healthy girl to fashion a non-functioning penis. It is barbaric in the extreme, and the attempt to make it sound mundane and palatable in these videos somehow only highlights the barbarity and cruelty of it.

And it’s not just Boston Children’s Hospital. Kaiser Permanente in Oakland, California, has amputated the breasts of a 12-year-old girl and castrated a 16-year-old boy in the name of “gender-affirming care.” Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh promotes puberty blockers for children. The pediatric gender program director at Yale has admitted on camera she believes children as young as 2 or 3 can be eligible for medical intervention and treatment on their “gender journey.”

In other words, the people and institutions behind this movement are not fringe, they are not the pink-haired youths and black-clad Antifa thugs screaming at old ladies in the streets. They occupy the elite heights of American society. They have real power and influence.

And they are not just angling to get between parents and their children, they are angling to get healthy girls and boys onto the operating table. They are angling to get grown men into women’s locker rooms, bathrooms, shelters, and dormitories. They are angling to get Child Protective Services to remove children from parents who refuse to go along with transgenderism.

And if you object or protest in any way, they are angling to get you labeled a bigot, a threat to child safety, a terrorist. And you know what that means.

Horowitz: The blueprint for states to protect citizens from FBI and IRS tyranny

What do you do when the cops become the robbers? When federal law enforcement is now criminalizing conservatives, their existence, and their political beliefs and is willing to use all of its taxpayer-funded resources, technology, and manpower to investigate, entrap, surveil, and infiltrate conservative political activists to the point of criminalizing basic First Amendment rights? These are questions many of us never thought we’d be confronted with in our lifetime, but they are upon us and demand immediate practical answers.

With the FBI raiding people’s homes and infiltrating anti-COVID fascist groups and trying to get them to kidnap the Michigan governor, we cannot simply wait for Republicans to take back the House and possibly hold some hearings. We need to confront power with power. Republicans hold the trifecta of government in nearly half the states, and it’s time they use it in the way Madison envisioned.

It doesn’t take a genius to figure out why the Democrats suddenly authorized the hiring of 87,000 more IRS agents. It’s not to ensure that Pfizer isn’t avoiding tax loopholes. It’s to turn all political opponents of the regime into “J6ers,” and the surest way to find nebulous crimes or entrapment to bring the FBI into their lives is to empower the IRS to use the tax code against small business owners. But of course, only the ones who speak out against the new current hotness of the regime.

Madison made it very clear during the 1798 nullification debate that “the states who are parties therto, have the right, and are in duty bound, to interpose for arresting the progress of evil.” But decades into the trend of states being obsequious doormats to the federal government, it’s hard for any one individual elected official to take on the feds alone. However, as I’ve explained before, Madison articulated a more comprehensive blueprint for interposition a decade earlier in Federalist #46. He made it clear that it would have to be the governor and the legislature working together, most likely in a large state (think Florida or Texas), and then bind together with other states to do the same, all the while, harnessing the morality, law, and popular sentiment to delegitimize the federal policy.

“The disquietude of the people; their repugnance and, perhaps, refusal to co-operate with the officers of the Union; the frowns of the executive magistracy of the State; the embarrassments created by legislative devices, which would often be added on such occasions, would oppose, in any State, difficulties not to be despised; would form, in a large State, very serious impediments;” wrote Madison. “[A]nd where the sentiments of several adjoining States happened to be in unison, would present obstructions which the federal government would hardly be willing to encounter.”

So, the first step is to build outrage among the people by exposing the repugnance of the federal acts and delegitimizing their policy in the minds of the citizenry. Then, the governor and legislature, preferably working with adjacent states, work to shield the people from the feds so that they could safely refuse to cooperate with “officers of the union.” Madison predicted that interposition across state lines “in unison” would create an insurmountable obstruction against federal tyranny.

DOJ wrongly withheld memo on Russia probe: Appellate panel

A watchdog group previously sued for the memo, which the DOJ argued was exempt from disclosure

A federal appeals panel ruled on Friday that the Department of Justice improperly withheld parts of an internal memorandum discussing the potential prosecution of then-President Donald Trump on obstruction of justice charges following the Mueller investigation.

The March 24, 2019, memo came from the DOJ's Office of Legal Counsel and was intended for Attorney General William Barr to evaluate in considering the pursuit of charges, according to the Associated Press.

A watchdog group previously sued for the memo, which the DOJ argued was exempt from disclosure. A federal judge disagreed and ordered the DOJ to hand over documents to Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics. They did so, but withheld the memo arguing it exempt as an internal deliberation.

The memo reportedly highlighted Mueller's failure to determine whether Trump committed a crime, saying “Mueller had declined to accuse President Trump of obstructing justice but also had declined to exonerate him.” It further suggested that “the Report’s failure to take a definitive position could be read to imply an accusation against President Trump,” according to the AP.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit asserted that the memo did not fall under the exemption the DOJ cited, asserting that the agency failed to assert that its content were part of Barr's decision making before he issued a statement on the report.

“Because the Department did not tie the memorandum to deliberations about the relevant decision, the Department failed to justify its reliance on the deliberative-process privilege,” they wrote.

Feds Swear Trump Investigation Was in 'EARLY STAGES' When FBI Stormed Mar-a-Lago. Oh, Really?
BY VICTORIA TAFT AUG 18, 2022 11:28 PM

During the hearing to determine if any of the documents used to get a warrant to raid Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home, prosecutors told the judge that the investigation was in its “early stages” and argued to keep all of their documents secret for fear of giving the former president’s lawyers a “roadmap” to their case.

Judge Bruce Reinhart said he was inclined to release some of the documents and gave the government one week to come up with a plan to determine which documents would be redacted, released, or remain sealed. “I’m not prepared to find the affidavit should be fully sealed,” he told attorneys for the media, Judicial Watch, and the government. Reinhart, who’d previously recused himself from another lawsuit involving Trump, said, “I find on the present record the government has not met its burden of showing the entire affidavit should remain sealed.”

Chalk up a temporary win for civil libertarians.

Still, the thought rolling around in my brain was the claim made in court that this investigation was in its “early stages.” This is a breathtaking statement. And it raises more questions than it answers. Let’s go through a few of them.

I am right there with you on many of those points-- especially the border. I don't want to see drugs legalized though--- MJ is fine, but we don't need heroin and meth "stores" or open use. Seattle and Portland are shitholes from that.

Overall-- I think the GOP is more likely to be aligned with the "You do You, I'll do ME-- and you can leave me the fuck alone" mindset

Check this out-- some of the questions relate to issues that have changed somewhat, but it's an interesting little assessment.

I take that once a year or so, and I am always between 0 and 2 pts right of Center, and about 5 or 6 points DOWN from the middle-- effectively a Centrist Libertarian. I spent 14 years in California-- and my liberal friends there think I am a gun-toting right wing extremist.... LOL...

Attention, if you're a fan of Louder with Crowder
(I enjoy his shows, good info and plenty of laughs.)

YouTube Suspends Steven Crowder’s Show Alleging ‘Misinformation’ In Kari Lake Interview

YouTube suspended conservative comedian Steven Crowder’s show over a now-removed interview with Republican Arizona gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake.

The platform said the interview violated their “misinformation policy” because of Lake’s claim that there was “widespread fraud” in the 2020 presidential election, according to Crowder’s tweet posted late Wednesday. Lake told Crowder that if she is elected, she intends to investigate the alleged voter fraud both in the last presidential election and in the gubernatorial primary she recently won.

“Content that advances false claims that widespread fraud, errors, or glitches changed the outcome of the U.S. 2020 presidential election is not allowed on YouTube,” the notification said.

Wow. Won’t be able to steam to @YouTube because of comments from a CURRENT GUBERNATORIAL candidate. On a show with all references provided. If this isn’t suppression of political speech, then nothing is. See you tomorrow on Rumble and #MugClub with updates.

Crowder accused YouTube of practicing “suppression of political speech” by removing the interview from the platform.

“Wow. Won’t be able to stream to @YouTube because of comments from a CURRENT GUBERNATORIAL candidate. On a show with all references provided. If this isn’t suppression of political speech, then nothing is.”

When suspended, a user is unable to upload videos or stories, host live streams, show playlists, create community posts and navigate viewers to and from premiers, according to their policy.

In a separate post Thursday, Crowder told his viewers he will stream his show from Rumble and his MugClub website. He further vowed to interview Lake again in retaliation to the suspension. (RELATED: Twitter Suspends Conservative Comedian Steven Crowder)

“We’ve been suspended, not for anything I said, but for what the future governor of Arizona, Kari Lake, said regarding election integrity,” Crowder wrote. “The election primary that she just won? YouTube’s decided she’s an extremist, you’re an extremist, so let’s all be extremists together exclusively on Rumble and MugClub. Look, you don’t have to win every fight, you just have to make them wish they picked somebody else. Today, let’s make them wish they picked someone else.”

YouTube suspended this show over our @KariLake interview. So, you know what? We’re interviewing her AGAIN! Because f*ck YouTube.

Crowder alleged Thursday that the platform attacked Lake by removing the interview discussing the “election in which she is currently running.”

#CrowderOnRumble Not only is this suspension an attack on me, but it’s really an attack on @KariLake.https:/t.co/VxpikCuXQ0 pic.twitter.com/3WkCOxnsKv
— Steven Crowder (@scrowder) August 18, 2022

“You can upload hardcore homosexuality porn to YouTube, you just can’t say that the “freest and fairest election” was not on the up and up,” he added.

A three minute segment of the interview continues to exist on YouTube, where Lake vowed to issue a declaration of invasion on the U.S.-Mexico border and deploy the National Guard to combat the influx of migrants and drug cartels. She further described her plan to increase the homeless population’s access to beds and shelter.

OH HELL YES!!

Federal Judge Rules Biden's Oil and Gas Order Violated the Law, Issues Permanent Injunction in States That Sued

A federal judge on Thursday issued a permanent injunction that will allow new oil and gas leases on federal lands.

The ruling by Judge Terry Doughty of the Western District of Louisiana came one day after the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals had kicked back to Doughty an injunction he issued last year to accomplish the same goal, according to The Hill.

Doughty’s Thursday ruling permanently blocks a January 2021 executive order from President Joe Biden that halted lease sales on federal lands.

Trump teases 'major motion' after FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago

Former President Donald Trump on Friday foreshadowed a "major motion" in response to the FBI's raid on his Mar-a-Lago estate earlier this month. The FBI raided Trump's Florida home seeking classified documents the former president may have removed from the White House. Republicans have largely condemned the raid as an act of political persecution.

"A major motion pertaining to the Fourth Amendment will soon be filed concerning the illegal Break-In of my home, Mar-a-Lago, right before the ever important Mid-Term Elections," Trump wrote on his social media platform, Truth Social. "My rights, together with the rights of all Americans, have been violated at a level rarely seen before in our Country. Remember, they even spied on my campaign."

Trump did not give details, though the Fourth Amendment protects against unlawful searches and seizures.

"The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized," it reads.

Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart, who issued the warrant, previously recused himself from a civil suit between Trump and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Some prosecutors have argued that he should have recused himself from the warrant application and his failure to do so has given Trump legal grounds to contest the search.

"The greatest Witch Hunt in USA history has been going on for six years, with no consequences to the scammers," Trump continued. "It should not be allowed to continue!"
