At first I thought this was just another “woke” story. But having read it, and thinking about just how bizarre things have become, I decided to post it.

Chaplain Claims Church Of England Deemed Him "Risk To Children" For Questioning LGBT Ideology

The last paragraph should give one pause…

He experienced what he described as “Stalinesque” interrogations in which he was told that refusing to capitulate to the allegations and to deny his beliefs made him a risk.

I do not believe delivering a sermon can be a safeguarding issue. I did not think anything I said was wrong. I certainly didn’t make personal attacks. I was told by the safeguarding team at Derby diocese that my sermon and my views, based on C of E teaching, could potentially cause someone anxiety, as if that is abuse,” said Randall.

“If the Church of England believes that its own teaching based on the Bible is a safeguarding risk then what does this say about what state it’s in?” he added.

Maryland county implements 30-day CURFEW for children under the age of 17 after 'deadliest' month in history: Cops say 24 people were murdered in August including boy, 15, shot outside 7-Eleven

Teenagers in a Maryland county blighted by violence are to be banned from the streets between 10pm and 5am during the week, it was announced on Monday, in a bid to bring rocketing juvenile crime rates down.

Angela Alsobrooks, executive for Prince George's County - which encompasses eastern Washington DC and the surrounding suburbs - said that parents could be fined up to $250 for repeated violations and children could be turned over to the Department of Social Services.

'I'm just going to put it very bluntly: Somebody has got to take responsibility for these armed and dangerous children. And it's not just the police and not just the government,' said Alsobrooks.

'We have children who are out in our communities at 3 and 4 o'clock a.m. committing these crimes.

'No summer job or government program is going to help that.'

The youth curfew is based on an existing law, and was last brought in in 1995, but Alsobrooks said current circumstances warranted bringing it back.

Alsobrooks noted an 'eye-popping' 430 arrests of juveniles this year so far - nearly double the number last year - and 84 arrests of young people for carjackings - almost the same figure as for the entire 12 months of 2021.

Under the terms of the curfew, youngsters aged 17 or under must be home between 10pm and 5am on weekdays and Sundays, and midnight and 5am on Friday and Saturday nights.

The 'cooling down period', as Alsobrooks termed it, will run for 30 days.

My comment: That's racist.
Only racist if this was a Republican county.

More on the destroyers of Democracy

ATLANTA (AP) — Two months after the 2020 presidential election, a team of computer experts traveled to south Georgia to copy software and data from voting equipment in an apparent breach of a county election system. They were greeted outside by the head of the local Republican Party, who was involved in efforts by then-President Donald Trump to overturn his election loss.

A security camera outside the elections office in rural Coffee County captured their arrival. The footage also shows that some local election officials were at the office during what the Georgia secretary of state’s office has described as “alleged unauthorized access” of election equipment.

Security footage from two weeks later raises additional alarms — showing two people who were instrumental in Trump’s wider efforts to undermine the election results entering the office and staying for hours.

The security video from the elections office in the county about 200 miles southeast of Atlanta offers a glimpse of the lengths Trump’s allies went to in service of his fraudulent election claims. It further shows how access was facilitated by local officials who are entrusted with protecting the security of elections while raising concerns about sensitive voting technology being released into the public domain.

So basically you are an enabler of the Deep State. You just love that tactics that the Deep State is using to go after President Trump and his MAGA supporters. They are going to comb every inch of the all documents they seized legal or not to find anything, anything that they may use against him. Compare this to how Hillary was treated with the documentation of the server in her bathroom.

and the media must be making this up too. . .

A judge has ordered that a county official in New Mexico is “barred for life” and “constitutionally ineligible” to hold public office after he was convicted for his role in the attack on the US Capitol.

Otero County Commissioner Couy Griffin – a founder of “Cowboys for Trump” – will be removed from office, effective immediately, according to the court’s order on 6 September.

Griffin was convicted on misdemeanor charges for his role in the Capitol riots on 6 January, 2021, and he recently refused to certify local election results, relying on debunked conspiracy theories about voting machines, fuelled by spurious legal challenges and false narratives from Donald Trump and his allies.

District Court Judge Francis J Mathew determined that Griffin is disqualified from office under Section 4 of the 14th Amendment of the US Constitution, holding that any person who “engaged in insurrection or rebellion” or gave “aid or comfort” to insurrectionists is disqualified from holding public office.

The judge’s order – the first in more than 100 years that a court has disqualified a public official from holding office – followed a lawsuit filed by a group of New Mexico residents.

Noah Bookbinder, president of Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, which represented the plaintiffs, called the order a “historic win for accountability” in the wake of the attack.

“Protecting American democracy means ensuring those who violate their oaths to the Constitution are held responsible,” he said in a statement on Tuesday. “This decision makes clear that any current or former public officials who took an oath to defend the US Constitution and then participated in the [6 January insurrection] can and will be removed and barred from government service for their actions.”

The judge noted the “irony” of Griffin’s attempts to defend his actions and urge the court against “applying the law” despite participating in an “insurrection” with a “mob whose goal, by his own admission, was to set aside the results of a free, fair and lawful election.”

1-Two months after the 2020 presidential election
By definition they couldn’t alter shit as far as the vote totals. Straw man argument
2- the only people calling Jan 6 an “insurrection” are idiots and liars

“was convicted on misdemeanor charges…”

So if misdemeanor charges should exclude anyone from Public office. 3/4 of Democrats should be flipping burgers
