Most of the electorate nowadays get their information from 'big tech' who painted Trump as a racist, fascist dictator. Almost every vote for Biden was an "I hate Trump" vote. That's why Biden and Harris could hide out the entire campaign season. The same folks would have voted for the Howdy Doody ticket if it was the alternative to Trump. Oh wait, they did.

I would encourage you to read this article. What we're seeing, and its certainly true for me, is not simple sour grapes over our guy losing, its that twice now we've seen blatant corruption eat away at the very soul of the institutions that we've put our trust in for so many years. It's like cancer. Insidious, slow and hard to see, but it slowly eats away the core until the host can no longer fight it off. Our trust in those institutions has been misplaced.
Its happened in many countries around the world. In ours, as in so many others, its fueled by greed and the thirst for power, Technology makes it easier for the masses to communicate, but it also makes it easier for those who wish to control the conversation. Controlling the media and what is accepted as 'truth" while at the same time censoring and denouncing anyone who questions the "official" word as conspiracy theorists and "deplorable's" is an old and often used method of insuring the sheep stay in line. If you're on the side of those who control the media however, you can get away with the wildest of fantastical accusations, blatantly disgusting speech, and open calls for violence without challenge.

This particular cancer started long ago and is most effective on the young. Our public education system is no longer concerned with achieving excellence. Instead, it's run by openly Marxist/socialist teachers unions more concerned with preaching "social justice" and "equality" and that all of those old white guys who had a hand in creating what is widely accepted as the most prosperous, individual freedom loving nation the planet has ever known, were actually fascist killers ......than teaching Johnnie how to read and think for himself. Our education system has all but failed completely*.
(*2019 12th grade student achievement shows an average score of 37 percent reading proficiency and 24 percent math proficiency)
The battle cry of the left, and particularly the brainwashed youth, is now "Equality" and "Social Justice", As Thomas Sowell once said:

Sorry Johnnie/Latisha, we're NOT all created equal when it comes to getting ahead in life, we have to make smart choices and put in the time and effort to achieve our goals and desired outcomes. Some folks are better at math, some at science, or art, others at doing things with their hands.. Each of these comes with tradeoffs in financial compensation and personal satisfaction. While I agree with you 100% the problem is corruption is hidden by the media that everyone watches. Plus when this corruption is brought up its used by those media outlets as false or misleading info from right-wing idiots. So until the media and education is changed its not going to stop.

I don't think this ever will be fully done, and I don't think the media is frankly interested in it. Laws need to change in this regard, because a lot of it isn't illegal or is borderline. Hold our reps accountable, give them TERM LIMITS, perhaps we could start chipping away at the washington elites.
I understand why Wray didn't act on it (didn't want to get involved in politics like Comey did), and for his lack of action he should be fired. I think Rudy did eventually expose it?

I don't disagree that there is corruption that should be rooted out, and we need to take a very close look at what happened with this election. I've been clear and consistent on that.
I never really bought into the Russia collusion arguments, and the outcome of the investigation kinda closed the book on that. With Obama I guess I never really bought into the birther argument as well.
A lot of my lefty friends firmly believe in it, and I doubt that more coverage of it would have changed their minds. Right after the impeachment ended, a lot of interest in it dropped.
Konqueror is a web browser that doesn't have enormous corporate backing. Ubuntu is a reasonable distro too.
I'd argue that this is the swamp draining that we sent Trump in for. I am sure the Bidens benefit from their connections. Once you start looking I am sure both sides of the isle are filled with people profiting off of their political positions and knowledge. Who was the one rep that sold a bunch of stock right before corona hit the US in a big way based on information that the public didnt have? SWAPy behavior.

I wasn't alive during Watergate, I don't think I really have a opinion (that I would self respect) on the media machine at that time. I also don't see this as particularly unusual given the current climate (though distasteful). In MN we are having something similar playing out in state politics, though its WAY less nasty.

I don't think we should have computers involved at all. Manual recount. Computers are too easily tampered with (or "misconfigured")

This is a good article. I'd throw in there gerrymandering as another way we disenfranchise and misrepresent people. Voter ID, fair political borders, eliminate harvesting. Lets fix it!!!
edit: make election day a paid holiday. Then less excuses as to why these reasonable things won't work.

I'm with ya big red fish. What bothers me, is all the HATE that is now being labeled on anyone that voted for President Trump. It really is getting out of had...what's next? We have to sew a 'T' on our clothing? After the next four years, I think America will see what happens when they let the left win. I am sure of it. If not, then this country as we know it, is over. I don't care if anyone thinks so or not. The path to self destruction with be set in stone. How far they go in the next 4 years, well we will know shortly. Biden talked about a 'dark' winter, I am thinking a 'dark' next for years for our Nation. But I am done.
