Using an IP camera with a video meeting app like Zoom or Jami

Is it possible to use an IP camera with Zoom or Jami. In other words, IP to USB

iirc hard to get IP rtsp to work as USB ...

wonder if you can use VLC to consume the rtsp feed and redirect some how to zoom?

There would be quite a lot of lag. I think there are several drivers out there that can do it, but maybe only with mjpeg streams. Google would find them.

I suppose the easiest approach would be to just by a high quality usb cam but the prices are pretty crazy right now and I've got a bunch of Dahua cams not being used. I hadn't thought about using VLC but it sounds like a good approach. Thanks

Wyze released a firmware to use their V2 camera as a web camera for this exact reason.
