I have a Hikvision DS-7604NI-E1/4P/A which has only 2 ports being used.
I don't suppose anyone knows whether you can utilise one of the unused ports to power a POE device? I have a POE switch and no spare sockets in the vacinity so I was wondering whether I could power this switch of of one of the unused ports in essence using the POE capability of the NVR?
Anyone done anything like this before?
