video freezing during playback

I was having the ghosting issues and dropped frames as well. I excluded the entire "blue iris drive" from windows security virus scanning (I really wish I could just remove that entire "suite" all together) and changed the trigger photo to "database" from "full res JPEG," and one of those two seems to have done the trick. That's with VERY preliminary testing, but it seems to be a marked improvement already, so I figured I'd post my success as well to encourage the google machine to help people find this thread.
