Video stream lost playing back alerts via web interface

Just recently (maybe the current update?) - I can no longer play back alerts via the web interface (Ui3 or Ui2). I can see all the alerts along the left, but if I click one to play it I get the "video stream lost" errors. I can play them back through the direct console fine.

Clips I can play normally.

what exact version?
disable auto updates
 
BI version 4.8.1.1 was putting corrupt data into the clip database such that UI3 can barely play clips and can't play alerts that were recorded by that version.

The latest (4.8.1.3) seems fine though.

Jason R are you by chance saying that on your cellphone you cant play alerts or clips? I just in the past week started to have problems like that. If I am at home, I can play alerts and clips via WiFi. But if I go out and use cellar to connect via my VPN I can make the connection and the BI app will load up and I will see everything as usual, except for the boxes that would usually have pictures are just the test color bars that do not go away to be replaced with video.
Is this what your seeing?
