Way to see the password of ip camera instead of *****

There is no password to get into my BI, so the password for the cameras are written somewhere in the clear.

If I lose the password to one of my camera and resetting the camera could be be very hard once installed.

And the reconfiguring the camera might take a lot of time. For example camera going back to default static address witout having access to the cable.

I think it should be possible to just show the password of the camera once a "show" button is pressed or some non-obvious procedure is done.

There is a way to recover the password but it's silly to rely on blue iris as a backup. Email the password to yourself. Better yet, leave the default password, there is no reason to change your password when using blue iris.

and if you ever browse the camera's UI directly, your browser could save the password and that can be viewed in whatever 'saved passwords' tool it has...
