Connect a display/mouse up to the NVR and set it up that way.. thats usually the most friendly for newbies.

Thank you again Nayr, so yes it was never added to the NVR, then I got locked out so I unplugged it and BAM! there it is.
 
So Nayr I am thinking, I have bought all equipment from your reviews so far and will be buying more cameras and a PTZ. Maybe you could write a post on how to Setup all cameras, NVR connected to house alarm, connected to home lights, through a VPN and everything else that you have yours setup as I am very impressed and would love to get my entire house on that.
So you write it put it in a PDF and put a price tag on it and I am sure there are many people on here that would love to read it and pay for that privilege.
