I do have an old Foscam I will try it with but that doesn't help if we want it in HD with current cams.
Alright I have made some discoveries ...
It seems like the YouTube streaming requires audio. I was able to use any video size and the default encoder settings. If there was no audio, YouTube would not process the video.
I did find a bug where I enabled audio in the camera window yet no audio was flowing, since the camera had no real audio stream. I fixed this so that it setup a silent/empty stream. YouTube is happy with that!
I will have an update within a day in case this will help your situation as well.

I got it to work for a few minutes. Then constantly going offline.

Got it Working by Enabling Audio on the Camera you want to broadcast! Just click the Audio Tab and enable.
Max B frames should be 1
GOP frames as 30
Superfast, HLS 3
I used OBS to stream to Youtube but had issues with the feed hanging at random times. Will you post what you did to achieve a successful Youtube link up? How long has it been running non stop?
I do have a BI/Youtube stream running now at: Bird Cam – usefulramblings I'll see how long this streams.
