It looks like the weatherproofing gland for the RJ45 plug and socket.

I got some of those when I got a Q-See system at Costco a few months ago. The thing I don't understand is how you can put them on without either cutting them or the cable...

U put the cable through the hole first then crimp it

Right. That's the way to use them. The system came with the cable ends already on them.. I guess there was a little sarcasm in my post.. :)

Any idea where they sell these? Need one for a different cam.nellys don't sell them.one would think that they'd have tons of spares lol.

Failing being able to get one, maybe just wrap the connection with silicone duct tape or any other type of self fusing tape.

You dont need these...like fmflex says just use coax seal/silicon tape...
