What make and break time are you guys using

I currently have it at 1 and 60 for away and 1 and 10 for home...I don't think i'm benefiting from this the right way. It's not like it records for 60 seconds after trigger correct. It records for *break time* after there is no motion...so if the camera stopped sensing motion, it will stop after *break time* ends correct?I guess the only benefit to longer break time would be you wouldn't have to rely on pre buffer to catch an event with a few sec buffer zoneso yeah... Just curious what you guys are using

I generally set it to 0.7 for the make time and 30 seconds for break...a longer break time will not negate the need for pretigger...you still need pretrigger if you want the beginning of the event.

I usually set my pre-trigger to be 2 seconds, which in my case is 30 FPS because my hik's are at 15 FPS. Depending on the camera, my break time is 30 seconds - 200 seconds.
