Here is a very short video of two neighborhood punks in the alley on February 17, 2024:

One of your neighbors houses? It appears they know to hide their face as they pass by yours

My front cameras recorded both of them coming outside from their houses around 12:22 A.M. and they didn't go back to their houses until just before 4:00 A.M. The smaller kid is around thirteen years old and no longer goes to school; his future is going to be spent in jail.

They're sneaky, aren't they?

I wonder if someone in the neighborhood is missing a rifle?

The smaller one got hauled off in handcuffs on February 3, 2024 for smoking pot and having ammunition in his possession. The police could not find a gun, however.

Drop 'em a line, tell them "Hey, the gun turned up!!" If they are like some of my locals, they'll probably say "Well, we can't really do anything about it right now". I've called about several small crimes in progress over the years, and they didn't even respond - dispatcher said they were busy with other things right now.... Wow.

Here's the punk getting arrested on February 3, 2024 for smoking pot and having ammunition in his possession. He's in the upper right corner of the picture.

On a side note, I don't normally operate the PTZ function in the daytime.

It’s crazy how kids nowadays can get their hands on stuff like rifles—especially when you think about things like bolt action rifle parts kits being so readily available. I mean, parts like that could make assembling a gun way easier than most people realize. I had a friend who was into lever action rifle parts a while back, and even though they were legal, it always made me uneasy how quickly things could go from hobbyist stuff to something more dangerous. It's sad to think that kids are out here doing things that could end their future so early. Kids shouldn't be slipping into that world, and it really makes you wonder how things got this far.

We used to have deer rifles in the back window rack of our pickups in high school . I don’t recall one jumping out and shooting anyone

in the early 70's my brother and I were hunting grouse and quail near a national guard armory when a state trooper approached us and asked me if we saw a M60 tank because someone had just stolen a bunch of m16 and a tank.
