where is the best place to get the firmware for a DS-2DF8C842IXS-AELW ? mine has a bit of orney streak in it lately

it seems to stutter when zooming and yesterday the color hue went all grayman on me and turned the grass and trees a funny shade of yellow

but I am a little gun shy after bricking 3 cameras 6 months ago after one did an update

I traded a new Dahua speeddome with a memeber that had a hikvision one like the one I had because it was driving me nutz trying to get it to auto track and he got it from B&H who told me to FOAD

Are you sure it's T5 and not T2? What's your current firmware version?
As for hue changes, your SVC might be on or you have heavy packet loss on your network.

Yeah, you're on T2 (same as me), which doesn't get any more updates. 5.5.800 is the last official firmware (not sure why you're on 5.5.801).
