Which camera you recommends to good low light outside ?

Hi,
I have 2 cameras, 1 Foscam FI9805W, and 1 Ganvis (5MP),
I want to buy another camera of HikVision as I heard a lot of recommends about this company.
I need recommend about bullet camera that will work good at low light environment,
I saw that they have 2/4/6 line, and the 4 line is very overpriced for me, so I will go with 2 line cameras.
Sure I prefer 60FPs 1080, but I will satisfied with 30FPS 1080.
I prefer camera with 10/100/1000 connection.

Welcome to the forum..the new 4mp hikvisions have good low light performance. Avoid the 3mp hikvisions.
You dont need 60fps. 15fps is way more than sufficient, but the cameras will do 30 at 1080p.
You also dont need a gigabit connection...it would be of zero benefit.

either, but exir will have slightly better IR..and is more resistant to spider web issues.

if you buy the Chinese model with hacked English firmware....they are now 50Hz...no more 50/60Hz selection. but nothing to do with outdoor. just let people know if they use it for indoor.

For low light they are not ideal. The 2mp and 4mp versions are much better.

but without logos, it's possible ?

I make research between DS-2CD2T22WD-I5 (2MP Exir) & DS-2CD2T42WD-I5 (4MP Exir),
The only different is in "Image Sensor", the 4mp camera have 1/3" Progressive Scan CMOS and the 2mp camera have 1/2.8" Progressive Scan CMOS.
What's the differenet?

My NVR support 5 MP, but I prefer to buy camera with 30FPS at 1080 (or I wrong?)

Welcome to the forum..the new 4mp hikvisions have good low light performance. Avoid the 3mp hikvisions.

If the 3MP has poor low light quality, then what causes a lower megapixel cam to be better? In this logic, is the
1.2MP > 2.0MP > 3.2MP in low light? How much better is it in terms of human naked eye perception?

Lower megapixel camera generally receives more light per pixel as the sensors are the same size.

It's the same reason your 8MP iphone camera is no where near the quality of an 8MP DSLR camera for example. The iPhone sensor is so small that 8MP is a complete waste because you can't zoom in as there is too much noise.

There is a little bit of this with the Hikvision cameras (someone posted something earlier where the image was quite noisy). I'd personally get the 2MP WDR or the 4MP WDR if you want better night-vision and Hikvision.

I don't get your last question? These cameras are rubbish compared to human naked eye.

30m is a long way, best to go out and measure it. If it's really 30m, then you'll need more than one camera or a decent PTZ

DS-2CD2T22WD-I5 6mm will be good for 10m to 15m if you want to use Hikvision.
