Will my camera work with an NVR?

Hello,

I am being told that a HIK camera that I have purchased is only a stand alone camera and will not work with a NVR. Can anyone tell me if this is true? Here is the camera.

Since I cannot read Chinese and the page will not translate completely or properly for me, I'll say this:

• If it is ONVIF-compliant, it might work with an ONVIF-compliant NVR that is not Hikvision.
• It would be best to try and connect it to a fairly new / recent Hikvision NVR.

I think what they meant to say was :
"This camera will only work with a Chinese region Hikvision NVR and will be rejected with a language mismatch error when connecting to an International region Hikvision NVR"

It would require hacked-to-English firmware to connect to a non-Chinese region NVR.
