I also had the 0xC000007b after installation on an Ebay HP Elitedesk with a fresh copy of Windows Professional 10. Thanks to this thread, installing vcredist_x64.exe solved the issue.

Same. Got the (0xC000007b). Downloading this worked like a charm. Great info. Thanks for sharing.

Download Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013 from Official Microsoft Download Center
Download ---> vcredist_x64.exe

Just upgraded to an i7 8700 precision for my BI server, had the 0xC000007b, installed the visual studio 13, error is gone. Thanks to the OP!
