BI on Windows 10 box freezes regularly and only option is hard reboot.

I have had BI for a couple of months and have had 4 ,5 and now 6 cameras connected. 2 Amcrest and 4 foscam.

Every day or 2 my PC freezes
PC is an I3 with 16gb Ram, C drive is SSD running the very latest win10 and BI.
It has been crashing since first installation and for at least the last 3 BI updates.

Am i alone with this issue or is there some box I can tick/untick that has been known to crash the PC?

Since my box is Win 7 I'll defer to others that should have some ideas, but in order to help they're likely going to have more, in-depth questions about your hardware and how things are configured, particularly with BI.

I will say, however, that I highly recommend you keep only the BI program and its 'db' folder on your SSD and move all BI clip storage folders to a hard drive (my favorite, a WD Purple). Of course, those new folder path changes are made in BI 'Options', 'Clips & Archiving'.

Is your memory use and CPU usage slowly climbing? If so search the forum for memory leak... otherwise perform a clean install using the Microsoft media creation tool...
