I remember relying on that thread when i got my NVR and was drawing a blank when searching here.

Much like yourself, I've visited the thread countless times for it's content. I humbly submit that it was not until only recently that I bookmarked it.

What subnet are you using on your lan? Most users use 192.168.x.x, but if you have a 10.x.x.x it may be confusing lorex. In that case you can change the ip range of the poe ports (or change your home ip range).

Hmm, I recall seeing errors on the Lorex screen like, "10.1.1.201 - Cannot find the network host", so I'm guessing it defaulted to the 10.x.x.x . Ok, I'll look into how to change the IP range of the ports. thx.
