They got into a least a couple of vehicles in the community that I'm aware of....police came and dusted a neighbors car for fingerprints. Suggestions on how to improved the video quality? It's from a IPC-T5442TM-AS (3.6mm) with IR set to Auto.

Be sure you have the shutter speed set manual to something like this:

I had played around with the manual settings for night at one time and didn't like the result but then again back when it was freezing (50 degrees) I probably didn't want to go outside to test it...LOL! I'll try it out again.

What is your IR and Backlight set to for night?

With everyone wearing masks we're going to need more data.

More color data.
More data on possible cars driving on the road.
Closer data on faces, hopefully enough to catch people's eyes.

Unfortunately this gets challenging, will need more cameras.

Also time probably to setup an alarm system of some sort when someone walks on to the driveway.

I'm thinking of something like this, to setup to work at night:
( of course designed to catch the vermin in your picture.. )

Looks to me like the IR is washing it out. I prefer to turn off the IR and put in some LED security lighting. Hopefully you will have enough light for the camera to remain in color for even more detail.

Backlight off, and Auto for IR. Gamma set to 45.
