Ok, sorry if I missed this during search. I'm under the weather and brain is fried.

I just purchased a license for BI, Ver
4.4.9.8
finally got all the pieces and parts to start testing everything.

Optiplex I5-6500 with Intel HD 530 video. 8GB of ram. Win10Pro on SSD.
4GB Purple drive.

With six cams recording, I can see BI ram usage start climbing immediately upon start.
No motion or other fancy tricks setup. Direct to disc is choosen.

2-3 hrs, BI will peak at 3GB of memory use, and lockup the computer. Screen turns grey.
I have to hold the computer power button down to shut it down. I remember seeing something about the Intel Video driver being the culprit in this.

It has Intel Driver 20.19.15.4531.9.29.16 currently.

Can some please tell me which driver may solve this?
Thanks you.

.4531 definitely has the memory leak issue. Upgrade to 21.20.16.4542

I just updated mine by following the link fenderman put in the "Anyone seeing memory leaks in 4.4.9.4?" thread and just used the update driver.

What is the difference between this driver 15.45.10.4542 and the one you suggested?
I don't find this 21.20.16.4542 on intels site.
Try the one from the website, what are you afraid of?

Just installed the driver from this link. With this driver and 13 cameras running (8 of them H.264) it is staying under 50% CPU usage at 1080p. Previously it was maxing out the CPU with 720p at times.

Previous (Dell or Windows Update supplied - not sure which) / new (Intel setup wouldn't auto install, so I manually installed):

Well, BI has made it for 24hrs now without any hiccups. Longest run before was just under 12hrs.
So hopefully this chapter is over. :)
Thanks to everyone for all the suggestions.
