Hello,

Because all this computer/cams/router stuff eat electricity I am curious about the price of your electricity per KW ?

In France (I removed the fixed monhtly fees/taxes just kept variable parts) but of course they are different suubscriptions with some that have different daily/nightly costs but with higher monthly subscription fee, but this one is "standard" but it also vary a bit depending th eregion of France but not that much :

0.15€ per KW
10.8€/month for 100W 24/24 system cost 10.8€ per month (100*24*30 = 72KW)

regards.

Colorado produces more electricity than it consumes, California consumes more electricity than it produces..

I can't find the precise rate on my provider's website, but my last bill was $166.69 for 3092 kWh which comes out to ...

$0.05391 per kWh

Plus $16 monthly base charge and $9.14 tax.

Western Wyoming.

Yes Solar. 2 years ago when JCP&L was about $0.14 I had Solar installed, 25 year contract for $0.11 for the life of the contract. No equipment or installation charge.
I do not understand, who instlled your solar system ? is it JCP&L ? this solar system is installed in your property ? what is its capacity ? can it provide 100% of your power requirements ?

Equivalent of 7.4 US cents / kilowatt hour here year round, no two-tiered billing.

My system is 9.945kWh, installed by Trinity Solar in NJ. No it does not provide 100% of my power, average output is 1.5MWh per month. 39 panels on my roof.

There are companies that install solar on your roof for free then charge you a fixed guaranteed rate - they are generally VERY pushy, shady.... Generally, its a terrible deal since you have to convince anyone you sell the house to to accept the panels. You are much better off paying for the panels yourself and taking any tax credits available for you.
