Going to play with the settings on this camera a little. Can't wait till tonight to see what this does in the dark. Maybe a can catch the owl across the road.
Please post a night video when you get a chance.

seal these junction boxes and pipes up well, cant tell you how many times I open an external junction box and come face to face with a bunch of pissed off wasps..
They ain't getting in my boxes! All holes are plugged. Pun intended!
Thread sealant on 1/2 holeplugs, silicone and rubber seal on back of junction box and hole behind j box siliconed up!

Plumbers putty does a fine job of sealing up holes around wires. I've had the same wasp experience before.

How best to mount this camera in this location? I'm thinking about using the pole mount angled a little where the arrow is. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I'm replacing those other cameras with this one ptz.

Yes I have, the grey junction box on the floor will mount on the pole behind the cam, and all connections will be made in it.
2 1/8" ID pole made for Directv dish's and the tripod is also made for Sat dishes. I think it will be fine. Pole is 40" long.

Can't wait to see this go up, only reason I'm looking at a roof mount is because my roof is so low unless I get one of those parapet mounts it'll be in reaching distance, plus the dishes are already up there. I've also considered just putting a pole in the ground lol.

That will work if it gets the views you want from there.

I got the PFA120 for the SD599225U-HNI and it came with two gaskets for the interface between the corner mount, PFA151 and the wall mount, PFA110.

Use the link to find your cam and mounting options.

You might be able to use a corner mount on that fascia board. Hard to tell but it looks like there may be enough room to clear and avoid the gutter. With a corner mount you could see the same direction of those other cakes and the side of the structure.

Its march already, dont yeh think its about time to take down the xmas lights? ;)

that looks like a nice vantage point, as long as your not trying to ID anyone up close..
@nayr . How did you wire in the motion and gate sensor to work?
I want to wire in two motion sensors so two presets are activated when each sensor is triggered.
