Finally Hikvision camera's at the correct prices on AE for the world region models.

The prices are now the same (almost) as the UK trade prices.

It seems that there is life after they forced the sellers not sell Chinese hacked models.

Take a look if your in need for a new camera whigh is fully updatable.

Do you have any links to particularly cheap ones?
The DS-2CD2042WD-I is £95 on amazon UK and £79 on aliexpress.

If that gets caught at customs it will be £103

If your using AE and not in a rush China post seems to never get stopped at customs if your using dhl they will charge and about £8 in tax.

Also Singapore post comes to through Germany to the UK and as so is remarked and because of this it's a European shipping with no tax added.

So slow shipping does work out well.

Some of the cameras are low in price than £79 just look through.

Plus their £15 admin fee.
My last 2 non-DHL Aliexpress orders this month (Mystery IMX290 varifocal camera and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 phone) were via Singapore Post out of Hong Kong and took 7 days and 8 days.
And no tax required to be paid.
Very happy with that.

Do the Uk not charge any VAT on the item caught also? I always thought they had to add it along with Tax. How many cams would you order at a time btw?

What's those redmi phones like I've been thinking about getting one for the daughter for ages
The specs look good I'm just a bit nervous with phones from china having bought the crappy cheap tablets before

Initial impressions of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 (32GB phone storage / 3GB RAM) match what the many reviews say - it's a hidden gem, a quality product, fast, and refined in its construction.
For £153 delivered, including a warranty, it seems to be a really good product.
The screen is excellent, the GPS gets a better signal faster than my GS4, the fingerprint sensor is particularly quick and reliable.
No UK locale in the global ROM, but that doesn't seem to be a problem.
My better half is pretty pleased with it so far.
Now to buy the FitBit to match it.

I suppose the UK thing won't really matter really.
I been eying it up for a while but then got a bit confused as I saw a review saying it didn't work on 4G over here
But that was the only one so not sure if it was a mistake for a different phone that snook into the Redmi reviews

I looked on there and it doesn't give a conclusive answer for o2
Although I did look around and it seems to support the o2 4G band so I think it should be ok
