dahua camera IVS schedule missing and IVS not recording

Do you have a Dahua NVR? If so, make sure the ivs orange is scheduled in the nvr recording schedule.
I don't have a NVR. This is from the cameras directly.
Do the cameras not record IVS?

huh? they are dahua cameras...there is nothing different in the cameras he sells.
So why there is no IVS scheduling and recording on mine?
I spend 4-6 hours reading topics on this forum and another 2 hours trying different configurations.
Do cameras not record IVS on the microsd when there is no NVR/Software used?
I wish i could give you a definitive answer, but i have no idea. All i know is that i had to set up the recording part of it in the nvr schedule.

The record and snapshot are ticked.
Only general recording works.
If I select IVs or anything else in alarm menu there is no save and the camera forgets the selection.
I tried by selecting alarm IVS and scheduling alarms.
But the alarm menu does not have a save button and does not remember any selection
I take the blue iris pc part back... I don't think ivs works with that. But... It has its own form of advanced motion detection.

IVS is disabled when smart codec is used...if there is an issue with ivs it will be an issue with all dahua cameras not just cameras sold by empire...its amazing what folks think of..
Smart codec is off . The fact is I have 7 cameras here that do not work the way they are supposed to.
This menu only gives me an option to record on my computer or network.
I only want the recording to happen locally on the camera.
What am I supposed to put here?
